Rural areas in Spain have dealt with depopulation for decades. People have emigrated to big cities, such as Bilbao, Madrid, or Barcelona. But, when holidays arrive, little towns like Población de Valdivielso (Burgos) get filled with families and young people willing to spend their days in the countryside.
